KF Capital sees its work in venture capital and business succession as part of the broader effort to build a more resilient, multi-polar Japan. By supporting deep-tech startups and next-generation business owners from Fukuoka and Kyushu, it aims to contribute to a regional ecosystem that could credibly host backup capital functions and attract global investment.
Fukuoka has been designated as a national strategic special zone and a special zone for financial and asset management, with policies that make it easier for startups, VCs, and overseas asset managers to set up and operate. This combination of regulatory support, livability, and access to Asian markets makes Fukuoka an ideal base for building an impact-driven investment platform.
